(BEAUTIFUL LITTLE BABY GIRL LAIBA) Little Laiba was overcome by smoke .A community has spoken of its grief at the βshockβ death of a baby girl rescued from a house fire.
Friends and neighbours of ten-month-old Laiba Ahmed's family said they had thought she was winning her fight for life after coming off the critical list.
But Laiba, who had been saved by firefighters from a first-floor bedroom at her home in Waverley Road, Lidget Green, last Wednesday, died on Sunday night at Leeds General Infirmary.
